Talented knitters spin and knit by hand, do everything with love. They spun down, washe and scratching goat down till it gets silky soft. And only afte that it finally enters into the process of the spokes. It runs over five kilometers of yarn through fingers of a master to make one shawl!
Production of this beautiful shawls was organized by Absalyamova Alsou in 1987 in Orenburg. Best Orenburg knitters were combined into a production cooperative "Winter". Now the company has expanded, opened a branch in Ufa and is called the "golden hands." In Bashkiria in Zianchurinskom, Kugarchinskom, Sterlibashevskom, Fedorovskoye areas very good bred goats, giving a lovely down - soft, warm and has healing properties.

Pavlovo Posad is an ancient Russian town about 60 kilometers from Moscow. It is well known as the home of hereditary textile workers. The Pavlovo Posad factory for production of woolen shawls was founded in 1795 by Ivan Labsin. His business was continued by his sons and grandsons.
Pavlo-posadskie shawls are made of 100% wool or silk, richly decorated with floral patterns, lush roses and oriental ornaments quickly became popular not only in Russia but also abroad.

Khokhloma is a bright distinctive phenomenon of Russian folk arts and crafts. This traditional artistic craft appeared in the XVII century in the Nizhny Novgorod region and gets its name from a large shopping village Khokhloma where trades were brought to all wood products.The original technique of gilding wood products came from iconography and remained unchanged to this day. First, from the dried lime wood machined ready for further processing utensils. They are dried and coated with a special primer red-brown color. Then they are impregnated with boiled linseed oil and rub with aluminum powder and then enter the painting department. The painted products are two-three times with varnish and quenched in an oven at a temperature of 120-130 degrees. The resulting silver lacquer film surface gives a golden sheen. Thanks to a special coating lacquer and high temperature treatment they are very practical and safe to use.
